Guys, Google Apps is configured with my domain (bought from GODADDY) for mail. I bought a FREE hosting plan for my domain from FreeHostia. Now, when i change the name servers to dns1.freehostia.com and dns2.freehostia.com. My google apps email stops working. Any solution for this?

Didn't understood. To configure Google Apps, you'll need to change the MX entries to Google's given. You can change MX entry from cPanel.

dns1.freehostia.com should be your DNS nameservers. Now whats the problem ?

set nameserver address as:
dns1.freehostia.com
dns2.freehostia.com
Go to cpanel, change MX entries according to Google aps
You can also create CNAME record from cpanel (latest cpanel version has this option) to verify your domain name.

i've created appropriate MX (mail exchange) records for Google Apps.

But when i change the nameserver to dns1.freeshostia.com & dns2.

my mail webpage (mail.xxxxxxx.in) stops working n the page doesn't opens.

You might have created the necessary records in GoDaddy DNS and that will work only if you use GoDaddy Nameservers. So when you changed the nameservers to Freehostia's it stopped working.

You need to add a MX record, and create a redirection for the subdomain mail.domain.com within the Freehostia control panel.

The problem is that once you change the DNS names to freehostia's dns, "Total DNS control" option is no longer available. So you can't modify MX records and CNAME from there. I have found a workaround for this problem. Login to your freehostia CPanel and go to "Custom DNS record" and modify the settings similar to following:

It's working for me. Hope it works for you too :)
