Ok, a couple of things.
Creating backup discs from manufacturer installs all the crapware again.
Installing Windows 7 and using OEM key will not work!
There is a way to do this, legally. It involves a few steps.
1) Download Windows 7 iso from a genuine source (MS directly or a distributor like DigitalRiver).
2) Delete the 'ei.cfg' file to make it a universal installer.
3) Backup activation using 'ABR' (Activation Backup & Restore)
4) Use universal iso to install the exact same version of Windows 7 your laptop came with. (Windows 7 Home Premium x64, etc)
5) Restore activation using 'ABR' (Activation Backup & Restore)
