Front Load Washing Machine 8-9KG , Non-WIFI/ Non AI , Suggest a BIFL product.

Looking for a 8-9 Kg front loading washing machine. Have been researching for a week now. Very distracted on these AI craps and wifi things. Even the model numbers are confusing.

Suggest a good non - wifi , non - ai , Buy It For Life product (reliable) washing machine.

From my search

Whirlpool - leader in washing machine and very well priced.
Bosch - Very liable and trustable brand
IFB - Very well built and reliable ones , but slightly costly it seems.
Samsung - Highly suggested , but reliable in washing machine field ?
LG - Highly suggested , reliable too.

some say to avoid inverter ones , as it seems its a failure tech in AC , and many are option for non-inverter ones.. dont know how true. But a non-inverter ones are ok for me. Personal suggestions on this are welcome.
 
There’s no such thing as BIFL (Buy It For Life) when it comes to washing machines. Realistically, you're looking at a max lifespan of around 10 years, maybe a bit more with luck and care.

PCBs, whether packed with AI features or WiFi, are built with planned obsolescence in mind. They’re usually the first to fail and expensive to replace. If you're truly after longevity, only the old-school fully manual machines come close to being BIFL.

That said, AI in washing machines is actually quite useful; especially for optimizing water usage, load sensing, and fabric care.

In terms of brands, IFB is better than Bosch, and both are ahead of everything else in the Indian market when it comes to performance, service, and features.

Thread 'Front loading or top loading washing machine?'

Guys I'm looking for a 7kg-8kg washing machine.
I have heard front loading washing machines offer superior cleaning. For those of you with experience with both, is this true.
Also, heater + drier also required.
Brand preferences: none. ( though those with good service are preferred).
I have read some bad reviews about ifb after warranty expiration. So...well I'm a bit averse towards IFB.

i have been using samsung front load for years now it washes soo well but the rubber gasket on the front is torn well once i saw chudidhaar stuck there and washing started it ripped that part is my guess ,but i have seen many such complaints how samsung washing machine has leak issue but i cant say its only happens to samsung though


also would highly recommend going for wifi models as it sends notifications after completion so we wont forget and rot the clothes it saved me many times

I vote for LG steam models. I have 4 of them right now, all performing well, after sales support is top notch. No need to connect to wifi in case you do not want to. 2 of the units we have are wash+dry
