hey my friend to whom i spoke about ur screen want to knwo whether this can be connected to desktop in some way..... if that is so, he will definitely buy it. He works in electronics industry and building some rig (not a PC).

If u or anyone on the forum has any info about this, pl post here or pm me. Would appreciate.

My hp laptop had gone bust and i had tried to find out a way to make it a LCD monitor...I think you need a digital to analog converter which u have to hunt for...also...it involves cost for the converter,cost for the shell and time...would suggest to invest in a 16 inch monitor but thats what i think...

Btw rahul...I still have the lcd of the laptop and can provide with the details if ure intrested and can get your laptop working again

A panel PC can be made and hanged to wall.
you can control the panel PC with a wireless combo.
this will be a cool gadget.

For those asking if this can be used as monitor etc -
Laptop lcd cannot be used directly. They have
a LVDS interface (most with 30 pins, some have 20 pins)
and need a LVDS controller card, which must be programmed
specifically for that LCD panel. For ex -
