SupportHyper 48 is built for high performance. This super silent CPU cooler, with heat-pipe technology, wicks heat away and replaces it with the cooling breeze of a 92mm ball bearing fan. Four copper pipes embedded in densely packed copper fins dissipate heat rapidly and efficiently. The powerful good looks and quiet operation of Hyper 48 supports the latest Prescott LGA775, Pentium 4 and AMD's K8

Reason for sale : Motherboard conked of and is not repairable, so won't be needing the cooler for some time

Yes it is the same one, unfortuantely before I could use it my motherboard conked off and I have no computer to use it on at the moment

How did you break your motherboard while fixing it?
Your mother board backplate has 2 holes or 4 holes for fixing this HSF?
If only two then, this HSF won't fit at all.

^^^ i have same brand there is no broken issue ;) they never break this it is easy you unscrew ;)

You feelin ok??
I don't think it has been mentioned that the hsf killed the mobo.

Mobo died- hence no use for the hsf. :P
And if it's K8(means socket939) compatible, you use 2 holes as mobo only has 2 holes :P - you planning to drill 2 more?? :bleh:

@hey Bikey,

Infact, I gave him offer for Rs.1300 on 27th only. But somehow, he quit.

Further, It is not possible to be installed in any K8 compatible board. Because backplate has only two holes!. That means, this HSF is not for that motherboard. It can not be fitted on to it.

This HSF is primarily meant only for 775 Pentium socket. Only that has PWM socket. K8 has only 3 pin non PWM. Similarly the locking option through Backplate is also applicable only for 775.

I discovered after I got it from Vivek. Now, I discovered another way of using. That only using clip. Which is not worthy and not recommended. What to do?

Bought it so adjusting. That is why I raised this question to him.

Unfortunately you were lucky enough to get to try it, my mobo conked off before I could try to check it, and I was away for the New Years so really would not have been ship it to you

Hi

Don't worry, you will get a good buyer. If anybody needs I shall inform him of this. In fact, I myself could have bought it from you. But, I am running out of cash now. Best of luck.

Not correct. Using it on my A8N-E and working perfect. Received from Vivek himself. Of course there is no PWM but there is speed variation related to temp when connected to CPU fan header but presently connected to another header and runs at an almost constant 1600 rpm.

Installation was very easy also, only had to take out the Mobo to fix the backplate.
