if i need to setup a wi-fi network b/w 2 PCs, i wud also need a Wifi Router in addition to this; right?

How much does that cost?
 
Yes, you will need a wireless router that is compatible with your ISP - check with your ISP before buying one. A good wifi router will cost between 2.5 and 3k.
