All those who are speculating on pricing here, please bargain/lowball via PM.

You guys are flouting market rules and the mods are watching. :)
There is no cpu model below X2 4600+ for sale locally as of now.

Usually dealers only sell mobo+cpu combo in AMD, unless they know you well and make an exception.

If that retails as a combo with some mobo, for 2.6K odd for the X2 4600+, it doesn't imply X2 4200+ will sell for lesser.

If sold without a mobo, dealers usually charge a bit more over the price in a combo.

After AMD X2 chips hit the Rs.2.6K mark, they stay there till fully sold out and the next higher speed chip starts selling.
You may bargain via PM but please don't resort to distorted facts for manipulating the deal in your favour. :)
