Well my ipod went dead again..and both the times it died in Leh trip..this time i am not going to repait it..here are the pics of the dead one..

^^could not find the link at apple store for the same dock ..

if your connecting wire to the comp fits other ipods like ipod video then the dock should work..

regarding remote does it have a slot for remote/fm transmitter at the side of earphone plug??
