i am sell the 1 dvd with 3 book that is oringal one but i never used the dvd so i got form computer coach class so i pay full fee 40k but my class are over
that is red hat enterprise linux 5 server edtion x32 86 for server upto 20-100 computer

i guess it come Standard Subscription i got 3 book full coach but it is costly

i am sell 9-15k depend on brand but i never use the dvd :S

Umm this makes no sense. Are you selling off the books/DVD that you got when you studied for a RHCE/etc?

Is that really worth 9-15K? What you are selling is just the software/study material. There is no support (officially from Red hat and thats what they charge for) that will back it up unless I am dead wrong. And the study material is not really that expensive.

Sorry if I read this wrong. Some clarification would be good.
 
^ i finally finish my studies but i am sell so no use of linux but i dont want and not used also got the certification but i want u sell the dvd depart without book or with book ;) depend or price store

i got the book from cms computer coach class so try u read careful dude

linux is for server edition so i dont have time u set up many computer server edition so plasn u start my own buniess soon ;)
 
m47r1m mentioned that it is the redhat's support which costs you $349, $799 and $999 and not the DVDs, moreover, most basic support + redhat discs are available at less than Rs. 12000 (abroad though). I'm not sure of how much the books cost.

I have notified a friend of mine, who was looking for the OS, but not sure if support is what matters to him. I'll update you his reply, if any.
 
Yes, The price stated on the site is for the support that Redhat provides and the software itself is free.

As far as I know, the versions provided with the training courses is without the support, so you cannot charge anyone for that and selling Linux itself except for a nominal charge (cost of media) is againist the GNU license and illegal.

You can sell any books/manuals though.

Mods please check and correct the sale as necessary.
 
well...when I joined a similar institute, I bought the books for Rs 1000 each. And as mentioned by Nemesis, you can't sell those DVD's for a price b'cos its freely provided by Redhat for training purpose. Any one can download it from the net.

what does it means i quote from cms class he siad u have u pay 21 k for linux learning course indulge book change remmber where i pay full 41k for full fee so
that is gnu license upto 5-10 user i quote what did the master said
or i hope u understand clear

that is server edtion not standard edtion for 1 computer that is for server system if u are instrested genuine n+ or server member ;)

DUDE!!! For gods sake, get it into your head. The price of RHEL is in the SUPPORT subscription that you get from Red hat. And what you are selling does not provide that feature. You can download the CDs from Red Hat free of charge.

if u are confused btw my master form computer class told me the price if rhel for server edtion upto 5-10 user can use on this dvd

if u want test u check if how long it activation for 1-3 year
