Got an 5 months old Microsoft LifeChat USB LX -3000. Hardly used. But throwed away the packaging. Drivers CD is supplied and can also be downloaded from Microsoft website. works perfectly, can be used for gaming, movies and for messenger chatting.

THIS IS ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THIS BUT NOT SURE ABOUT QUALITY, MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE :

well just so people could know that this is a great headset and I am very happy to own one. I have heard senheiser, creative and plantronics headset before ... but this is no way behind :ohyeah: and its great for music,movies and decent for games (though my gamer friend liked it very much too, and he himself owns a creative headset and plantronics 370 :hap2: ) ... the sound has that bass punch that one always likes, sound is good even at full volume with no crackling noticed, headphones are really comfortable to wear and keeps the outside noise to zero.....the noise cancellation in mic really rocks ....and it works without any driver installation .....my uses are mostly for listening music, movies , and chatting online ....nt that much into gaming ....so i would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a good headset especially for the above uses. :)

The problem with this headset is the sound is very less even with high volume, but the comfortable and microphone are great.

I never faced any such low volume issues .. I use it on both linux and windows server 2008. But its good that you are being honest....deserves reps but it says system disabled :( ...atb anyway :) :)
