This is a full fledged Linux computer with a 4.3 inch 800x480 hi-res screen that fits in the palm of your hand. It has wi-fi networking and can connect to the Internet via your phone using Bluetooth. Some of the main software available for it are

- Full HTML browser with flash based on Firefox
- Mobile Firefox beta (Fennec)
- Skype client for making internet calls
- POP/IMAP mail client
- RSS reader
- Media player handles MP3/AAC/MPEG4/H.264 video
- Open source mplayer to play standard definition DIVX/XVID files
- Nokia has released Internet tablet video converter for easy conversion of any high resolution/high bitrate videos
- Youtube client to download and view youtube videos
- Lots of games

This is just a sampler, since the OS (Maemo) is based on Debian, there is a huge library of software available for it at maemo.org - maemo.org: Maemo is the development platform for Internet Tablets
 
@techstylist: I got it in the US direct from Nokia. I've now got this, an iPod touch and am planning to buy a netbook, can't use all of them in the limited time that I have.
