Graphic Cards G6800XT or G7600GS

This is Ayan Debnath from INDIA.

I am going to buy a PCIExpress Graphics card for my new AMD64 3000+ system.

Due to my very low budget (under about $130) which one should I go for ?
XFX G6800XT
-or-
XFX G7600GS

Please, suggest the best one for me under my budget.

Dude , U R Not Getting any of those cards under 130 $ , XFX 7600 gs is around 15k ( 300 $ ) in INDIA ! the xfx 6800xt would also be arnd 15k i think ( 300 $).

dude u cannot even get a 6600gt in that budget , even 6600gt is around 9k (200$ ) in india !

BTW if I had to pick btw those 2 cards I wud have picked XFx 7600 any given day !

^^Goldie I think u did'nt looked at his budget ! He wants those cards for under 130$ !

@Ayan : You can Get a geforce 6200 256mb for 100 $

What are you talking about?? Are you converting indian prices to dollars????
Its supposed to work the other way around..

Btw, those cards are available for less then 130-120 dollars on newegg..
Nway, i am assuming Ayan was talking about buying from outside coz he mentioned the price in dollars..

Go for the 7600GS. Better card of the two..

But, heard both the 7600GS and the 6800XT perform just a little over the 6600GT.

Imo, i suggest if you can afford it, to go for the 7600GT. Offers much of a performance step up and would be able to play most new games at high@ 1024.

Well, maybe we should leave the speculation aside and ask Ayan where he is gonna buy the card from.. :)

Still, for arguments sake, i think there are guys here who buy cards from US while still being in India..;) Err, I dont think i need to explain how that works..
 
Yes, I am tryingg to get any of these card from newegg.com USA.

A friend's friend lives there and comes back to Kolkata during 'Durga Puja'.

@Udit --- Dude, this is not the first time you are doing this..... bringing out personal things in public. Dont do that.... you are making a fool of yourself.
 
According to some review -

6800-XT > 6600-GT
and
6600-GT > 7600-GS

So, the result should be -

6800-XT > 7600-GS

But you are saying just the opposite. I am confused....

How could 7600-GS defeate 6800-XT where both of them are low-end cards in their segments. But 6800-XT is of 256Bit where 6600GT is 128Bit !
 
Well its a bit more complex;the 7600GS is more effecient per clock cycle and has a higher fill rate/shader power than the 6800XT.The 6800XT's bandwidth is of no use as it has no where near the fillrate and texturing capability required to make use of it;a 6800XT is slower than a 6600GT in almost all cases and a 7600GS is lightly faster than a 6600GT.

It is due to this reason that a 7600Gt ends up being slightly faster than a 6800GS/GT with nearly 60% more bandwidth!
