CPU/Mobo GA-MA78GM-S2H Question

Hi

People say that the GA-MA78GM-S2H is currently available for 4.5 k + 4% VAT

Is this the rev 1.1 with larger NB heatsink or the old rev 1.0?

Supposedly there were some heating issues in NB rev 1.0?

Any comments?
 
I mean, my question was general...I have not bought the board yet...

If its rev 1.1 its really worth the money....

Any comments from anyone who have bought this....
 
i think they would cost the same.....such revisions are supposed to only tackle minor problems/defects, there is no vaulue addition to warrant any price change.

go for the 1.1, thought 1.0 may also do fine....
 
Is the Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H (the one with 128MB sideport memory) available in India and if so, what's the street price?
 
i am using the board with GA-MA78GM-S2H rev.1.0 have not faced any heating issues with that so far....continually runnig it for last 5 days...with enouh of 1080p content moving on it.....

The Rev. is print on board you can check while buying it.

I bought it combined with 4800+ for RS.7650 @ comp. empire, delhi

Were there any specific problems with rev 1.0

I was reading that since the NB heatsink was small, there were some heating issues...Now in rev 1.1 they have come up with a bigger NB heatsink..................Is it true?

some review on a particular Indian tech website quoted the price as ~8k

NE says its ~105, so i hope they retail it for 5.5k-6k
 
I ahve the same mobo which i got in hyderabad for 4300 bucks ... no problematic till now

also no heat issues
 
just last week i got the same mobo Rev 1.0 from Arihant Info-tech Kolkata 4.5K + VAT... till then for last 5 days running it day n night without any kinda issue... :hap2:

for cpu/ram overclocking NB probably get hot but it all depends on which cpu u wanna oc.... for phenom off course u shud need active cooling for NB as well as CPU... so for any Athlon processor its hardly noticable in Rev 1.1 than Rev 1.0...

btw both rev costs same but availabilty depends
