but you can just flash back the stock rom and unroot..then you will be able to claim warranty without any hassles.
Although most of the time the service center personnel are a bunch of numbskulls so you might even get your rooted phone repaired, though i recommend you to unroot first before submitting to the ASSC
yeah u will need a usb jig to reset counter but it wont matter if u dont coz the service center guys dont check the phone that way but still to be safe just get a jig. if you are in mumbai, try heera panna for a usb jig in case u need one (usually available for 70-80 bucks there). or you can try superoneclick or doomlord's unrootin script also. in either case to reset the binary counter u require a jig
There is a tool now available by Chainfire to reset the binary counter! Using a jig is definitely simpler, but you have an option to do it without the jig!

Yes, I am. It did work successfully, just that it changed my initial boot-screen. But it's fine, no too bothered about that.
