Hello guys...

Budget - 20k - 25k

Will be getting the 10" version of any one of the above..

The 620 is 3k more, but i heard that it has some GPU features. Dont have much idea about Samsung hardware or the Android software since this is the first TAB/Android i am buying. So i want to know if its worth paying extra 3k and getting the 620 or i can stick to 310..

Purpose: reading, watching movies, not much gaming ( but i may start if i get obsessed). But movies, i should be able to play most of the formats, and no hanging, crashes, good battery life , etc. Please advice. If there are other options, then i am open to consider them too.

Will be getting by tomorrow evening. And i also want to know which retail outlet in Chennai can offer these for the cheapest.

GALAXY DUOS 7652:

Father opted for this. But reviews are mixture of pros and cons. Is it Ok to go for this or are there any other options ?

Finally got the TAB 2 P310 , but i didnt expect it would weigh this much. Thank God i didnt opt for the 10 inch. Hands start paining if i hold it even for sometime. But i hope will get used to it. The 620 variant is stopped. Now looking for a robust case for this one..

Any suggestions ??
 
Could you give a small review of the Tab 2 P310 from your side? Am considering recommending it to a friend.
 
There are a lot of reviews available . I myself read them and decided to go for it. Its perfect. But since this is the first android device for me I cannot say much. But some people say that even for a lesser price there are other brands where one can get a powerful processor with more ram. Anyway I don't want to take any risk and bought this. I have been using this for just reading and the purpose is well served. But don't have any idea about multimedia PDFs. For reading text based ebooks, this is more than enough IMO. Just for the first time to check 3g and call feature I used my SIM in this one and its pretty fine. Other features like Camera is OK. Video capabilities depend on the software you use. tried playing a 4GB file and it plays without a hitch. Sound is only just OK when compared to my N8, but the N8 is a beast when it comes to music. The build is very good and bootup is fast. Battery backup is average. What more do you want ?.

Again I am saying that you can get this device reviewed by some other person who is well verse with modding, have good knowledge in ANDROID/SAMSUNG hardware to give you the exact info you need. Apart from this if there is any other specific thing if you want to know don't hestitate to post your query... IMO you can go for it...
