Game controller?

XBOX 360 controller works with almost every "Games for Windows". Only titles that I found, it didn't worked with were Rainbow Six:Vegas 2 and Mass Effect. It also didn't worked with Fable but then again nor did any other generic controller I tried. As far as FPS are concerned, I played MOH-Airborne using it and it was good, sniping was made easy by the controller. Gears Of War and Kane and Lynch also played like a charm. I got it for 1200 bucks only. How much is it gonna cost at Lammy, I don't know
 
@stellarhopper. i am not a programmer. Yet i can write an ahk script easily. Just read the help file. automation is a necessity and not a luxury nowadays. look at this games for windows fiasco. why shouldn't a perfectly functional gamepad work. Just use an ahk script to remap your joystick controls to a keyboard input, specifically for that game. it is not rocket science. Or as Richard Feynman so eloquently puts it, "what one fool can do, another can too". I guess it apples to all us noobs learning from the community at large.

1 year ago when i wanted to buy the 360 controller the dealers at lamington road told me that they dont keep such products, dont know the current situation.

its kinda same situation here these days, xbox360 controller is sold by too few a dealers in chandini chawk and hence it is costly if you find one :bleh:
 
Guys thought of bumping an old thread.

I am looking for cheapest controller with an Analog sticks ( just as in Xbox 360 controller)

Which one should i go for? How much will it cost?

Cheapest? Frontech n other cheap chinese ones around 40-500 I guess :P Even logitech has a base model.
 
hey techie_007 get the XBOX 360 Controller got mine for 1.6K ,its decent and feels better dont have to use KB+ Mouse for GTA4 ,i have played grid ,Undercover Farcry2 and most of the games .Its worth the money u pay.

hey techie i will be getting mine tomo frm my bro i took the xbox one,so i have to download drivers from microsft first right?

And what are these xbcd drivers sth (:P)?

plz gimme more info what all i have to do to get it well set to start gaming :P

just download the drivers from the MS site and start gaming :D xbcd doent apply to u. Its more of a mediacenter for the xbox (ported to PC too i think).
