It would be great if they could release all the 36 levels of the original DOOM remade in the DOOM 3 engine. I think there were some mods out there which tried to do this, but fell short because of lack of people willing to spend time on it.
there was this mod called Doom3 : Hell on Earth, whcih sadly, was never released....
