Hey guys... Back after a long time on TE and its gr8 to be back.. :hap2: :D

So here's wut i'm after rite now...
A gaming build... going to be built over next month although i can wait rite up until June if i need to. I would prefer getting something temporary and upgrading later if its viable... And i'm planning to play every game that comes out until i finally replace this thing so keep that in mind... Budget 70000/- Can get some parts from Malaysia/Singapore if there's really a price difference that's worthwhile.. though will have to wait till start of May for that :)
So lets hear opinions frm all of you...

My idea so far is this...
Proccy - Core 2 E6300 - Rs. 9000/-
M/B - Not really sure - Rs. 9000/-
RAM - 1GB PC6400 or PC8500 - Rs.6000 to Rs.8000(there's a 1GB PC6400 OCZ for 78 Euros on Memory configurator)
HDD - Segate 320 GB Barracuda with Perpendicular recording - Rs.5500/-
Monitor - Wutever i can get for arnd 10000/-, would prefer atleast 17" LCD but no idea abt current price
PSU - OCZ GameXstream 700w - Not sure abt price but should be arnd 8000/-
Case/Key/Mouse - wutever i can adjust... might even take frm my old system - Rs. 5000
DVD writer - Samsung/LG - Rs.1800/-
Total comes to arnd - 56300/-
i would prefer to have 2 gb RAM and an E6600 but that doesn't leave nething for a gfx card and i'm counting on u guys and gals to come up with some gud ideas...
I will upgrade this and i'll probably make it last till atleast until mid/end 2008

Processor-E4300 if youre gonna OC(Rs 8500) or E6300 if not (Rs 9000)

Harddisk- Seagate 7200.10 Sata2 160GB(Rs 3000)

Graphics Card-Leadtek 7900GS(Rs 12000)

Power Supply-Corsair HX620W(Rs 7700)

Monitor-Samsung 740N 17" LCD(Rs 9000)

Optical Drive-LG H42N(Rs 1800)

Cabinet-Zebronics Jamaica(Rs 3000)

Keyboard-Logitech Easy(Rs 300)

Speakers-Altec Lansing ATP3(Rs 2500)

Mouse-Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000(Rs 800)

Total should be around 72-74k
 
If you are going to get a good processor later , go for the trusted asus p5w-d. And a 320Gb costs aroud 4.8k

hi man,
regarding ur grpahics card i suggest u buy it from singapore since its quite less there.consider buying the geforce 8800gts 320mb version,since ull be using a 17"tft u wont need the 640mb one.the 320mb version is listed at 495singapore$ thats around 14.5k,totally worth it man.

If u do plan to get the E4300 , then make sure u get the Gigabyte DS3P mobo , that'll infact let u OC that E4300 more than than the P5B-E will let u do :D
 
I think your total will come to more than 70k.....if u go for a 8800GTS 320MB with Gigabyte DS3P with cooling and atleast a 250GB HDD
 
get a ati x1900pro graphics card , and but a full tower case , so it wont be any problem when u purchase a tower cooler.
