alienware m17x........

It costs 1 lakh and 65 grands! And the budget is 100 grands.

OP hasn't mentioned that he is going to play movies on TV (external source). So let him answer that part first.

He will play on the laptop itself, hostel.

Reason for OP to buy 1 Lakh Laptop:

1. He's f****** rich

2. He's f****** spoilt

3. It's his birthday

4. He passed his back exam

Tell 'him' that if he's really into high-end games then a gaming desktop would be a much better option. But if a desktop is not feasible or if he needs a laptop regardless then he may go forward with it. (BTW OP = you = Original Poster)

Try Sager, Malibal etc.

Check with SMC International. They had a few for te MSI GT683DX series laptops for sale some time ago. If possible, Import (ICC/shipnshop) msi GT780 DX series. It is by far the best IMO.

P.S. GT555M just doesnt cut into gaming laptop range. I would only recommend it as the best card for a normal laptop which can be used for gaming.

No no, I forgot to mention he's a total n00b too.

No importing stuff or anything,

Whatever can be bought in India, only that.

Now I know there's an ASUS lappy for 1 lakh, an MSI one also for 1 Lakh, and XPS 17 max customised, and Alienware M14x

Could you guys please give me a breakdown of the specifications and where can I buy them?

Spending 1 lakh on "Gaming" laptop doesn't sound good idea. Even though the processors have a badging "i7" it still is miles slower than desktop counterparts.

If I had one lakh to spend on gaming, I would build a super Desktop computer with crazy specs and may be even multiple monitors.
