A 5 year old really PC that i will be scrapping

1. Monitor - Samsung 793s -(Will be buying a new monitor next month)
Q: Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
Processor - AMD Phenom II X2 555BE - 5100
Motherboard - MSI 790GX-G65 - 6500
RAM - DDR3 2 GB - ???
HDD - 320 GB 7200 rpm - 2000
Cabinet - NZXT Gamma -2000
PSU/SMPS - Corsair VX450 -3600
ODD - DVD RW - 1100
Q: Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
1. Monitor - Next Month - G2220HD
2. RAM - if advised
3. GPU - Month after that - MSI Hawk 5770 - or something better
4. HDD - WD Green - 500GB - Later
Q: Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)

Q: Would you consider buying a second hand hardware from the TE market

Q: What is your intended use for this PC/hardware

Q: If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?
No real preference here - Racing/FPS/RTS just a random mix of old/new games. Looking at playing at decent settings with as much bling as possible
Q: What is your preferred monitor resolution for gaming and normal usage
Not really sure, for home use i just go as high as my system can handle without a flicker
Q: Are you looking to overclock?
1. No
Q: Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
Again Not sure - Windows 7/XP
My Questions here are
1) Is there any point upgrading the processor to the 955 BE?
2) Any change required in the SMPS?
3) If (and that is a big if) I decide to do a xFire later will my SMPS handle it or will I need an Upgrade.
Any other suggestions people may have...
