This is a good buy as a gaming rig for 40k. If u have bit more cash and not ready to gamble with unlocking etc... get a PhenomII X4 945 ~ 6.6k

You can also consider the

Intel Core i-3 530 ~ 5k

Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2 ~ 4.5k

Thx Darkangel.....I am thinking of buying GTS 450 for around 7.7-8k which may bring down my overall PC cost:) ...I know that HD 5770>> GTS 450 but if the difference is not much between these two GPU'S( yes me ready to sacrifice a little bit on game quality) , then i may go with GTS 450..???

You have the budget for the card, right? Then why sacrifice quality? :S Are u looking for a Nvidia card only? If thats the case then get the MSI Cyclone GTS 450 GB GDDR5 ~ 7.8k

In fact the Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2 mobo seems to be only 3.65k :D Just checked price in deltapage.:)

Also the Core i-3 540 prices have come down to 5.15k :)

Athlon II x4 processors lack a L3 cache ends up compromising performance in long run, in heavy applications like Games and 3DsMax, if he wants to go to that budget it would be better spent on a Phenom II x2 555 and unlocking it with a compatible motherboard

Based on your recommended site also Intel corei3 processor (vs Phenom II x2 555) better performer overall and particularly for gaming even it is priced lower than amd processor you mentioned.

Unless unlocked the 555BE loses out to i-3 530. So its a gamble. If u dont wanna gamble on unlcoking etc.. then get a i-3 540 --> Priced has dipped to 5.15k. The i-3 530 is just 4.95k now.

Are all the new batches of X2 555 BE unlocking succesfully?
If not, then maybe an i3 530/540 setup makes more sense, also due to the lower power consumption.

Intel Core i5 530
ASUS P7H55 (ATX, EPU for power saving, ...)
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.
Corsair 2x 2GB DDR3 1333MHz/1600MHz
GTS450
500GB/1TB Seagate 7200.12
DVD Writer
Corsair CX400/VX450W
NZXT Gamma/Cooler Master Elite 430
...

If you want a very inexpensive motherboard for core i3 processor, check ASUS P7H55-M LX
(6x sideways SATA ports that won't get blocked by big gfx cards, DVI out for those who will use onboard gfx for LCD monitor, ...)
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

I am really confused about the cabinet....Whether to go for NZXT Gamma or CM Elite 430 or Sunbeam Ventmax.....I physically checked the Sunbeam Ventmax at Primeabgb store in Lamington road and it looks quite big and cool as compared to NZXT Gamma and CM Elite 430....Plus Sunbeam Ventmax comes with 5 preinstalled fans and it retails for an amazing price of Rs 2000-2200!!!!!!!! ......But i have not found much reviews for Sunbeam Ventmax.....

VentMax Case-Sunbeam provide the best gaming case pc for gaming and modding

You will have to add at least 1 extra fan in the NZXT gamma. The stock gamma comes with just 1 exhaust fan , so just get the gamma with 1 extra Intake fan. Add more in the future.
