What's the screen size required?

Anyway, for Intel:-
CPU E7400 >6000
RAM G.Skill Pi Black 2x2GB 3600 locally
GPU HD 4850 8000
HDD Segate 7200.12 500GB 3000
MOBO G31M ES2L 2400
Cabinet Zebronics Bijli 1000
PSU Corsair VX450 4000
DVDRW 1200
Total comes up to a bit over 29000 or so,
Add a Samsung 22inch for ~10000

Consider an AMD based config as well if you can compromise a bit/can increase budget slightly.
If you want to go in for a better cabinet/keyboard/mouse etc, change the E7400 to E5200. After a decent OC there won't be much difference. Else just compromise on display size, current config includes a 22 incher.

Nice but not so extreme.. You'd better consider a MSI P35 or P45 based mobo if you like to OC a hell....

I'd suggest you to get atleast E7400/E8400(if you'll able to extend ur budget a lil) or X3 (if AMD).

Rest, go for what desiibond suggests

I ll go the intel way dude and I am getting a e5200

Hmm.... If u r in shoestring budget and want bang-for-buck then E5200 is way to go. BTW With the Mobo u mentioned you can get past 3.4GHz easily, with a stock cooler itself. Better get a Aftermarket cooler and try pass 4GHz mark... :D

Guyz is the config good

@rajkumar_pb 3.2ghz would be enough for most games.

Instead of spending 4.4k in G15, you'd better put the amount and get a E7400 for 5.5k. Or else stick with what you wrote above...

And dont forgot, E5200 isn't a high end proccy..Just FYI...

actually this rig is for my cousin and he wants the g15.And dude e5200 is a very good proccy. The difference between this and e7300 is of 1mb cache which does not turns into a huge performance gap;) .And where on earth you get a e7400 for 5.5k:P

Oops, its our price and not retail price...Sorry... So then stick with E5200 if you thinks that 1MB cache wont make any difference...

A Phenom II X3 720BE + a 790GX combo would beat almost any rigs mentioned in this thread so far. Prove me I'm wrong and I'll get him/her a candy! :P

care to give full config:)

Get any of the configs mentioned in this thread minus the processor/motherboard. Get the Phenom II X3 720 BE and a 780G/790GX motherboard.

E7300 has higher clock speed, higher bus speed, higher amount of cache and hence it is highly recommended if you seriously want a gaming rig.

Compromising on processor for keyboard, IMO is not a good thought!!!
