Go for directx 11 rig.

No GTX 275 but HD5850 or wait for nvidia to launch GTX380 in mid November maybe.

and Q6600 will lead to CPU bottleneck with current generation GPU hardware, so go for i5,i7.

^^ Very nice config suggested by Naveen. Although it does exceed your budget by almost 10k but it's well worth it.

if u choose an AMD config instead, you can fit that inside 60K.
Since you are using the rig mainly for gaming, the CPU wont matter that much.

here goes AMD Config for you Buddy

OOPS sorry MODS please delete this post as it's the copy of above post..

Nice config suggested by Naveen, some changes :p -

Proccy - Intel Core i5 750 - 11k
Mobo - Asus P7P55-D - 10k
RAM - DDR3 2x2GB - 5k ~ (KMD)
GPU - ATI Radeon HD 5850 - 17k
HDD - WD 640GB AAKS - 3.3k
Optical Drive - L.G. GH22NS30 SATA - 1.1k
PSU - Corsair VX450 - 4k (i5+5850 consumes less power than any other quad + 260/4870 combo)
Case - CoolerMaster Gladiator 600 - 3.5k
Monitor - BenQ T2200HD - 8k
Mouse - Logitech MX518 -1.3k
Keyboard - Logitech USB Keyboard - 0.5k
Total - 64k~

^^ Everything is good except you could get RAID 0 for 0.7k more which allows you to access data faster than normal disk & i'm sure it will outperform WD 640GB Drive.

IMO get a 2*250GB HDD from either WD or from Seagate but get a 7200 RPM Drive.

RAID 0 will outperform any single drive except velociraptors & SSD's.

Wow!!
Thanks everyone for their suggestions .. I was thinking of getting i7 but it won't it fit into my budget?:S 5850 is definitely a great card but somewhere I was reading nvidia is a better option for their Physx option over ati .. please enlighten me on this part as I have not used a graphics card since my FX 5200 .. anyone wanna have it?:eek:hyeah:

Nvidia Directx 11 cards wouln't be out until mid november and I am sure when they come, ATI will have nowhere to run. Nvidia always has that brute force, and will always have the crown for making the most powerful cards on this planet.
Well but only if you can wait, GTX 380 or something will knock the lights out of HD 5870.

no doubt that it will definitely beat 5870 but the bigger question is at what price difference.......cos if the performance diff. is say just 15% and price almost double than 5870 then no point getting it...

I second masterBrain. Paying through your nose and getting the latest is one thing. Choosing and spending wisely getting the most bang for your buck is another. Throw in the fact of future-proofing and having it today on your hand, the deal becomes even sweeter. So, go for an AMD based rig. AMD Phenom II X4 965 on a 790FX MoBo with an ATI Radeon HD5850 with 6GB DDR3 RAM, Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB HDD, Corsair VX450 (or something higher, not the 550 because it is actually worse), CM 690 case, BenQ E2200HD, I prefer Microsoft KB & Mouse, choose a good one and any optical drive and that’ll be an ultimate rig.
