is this like a business or people do it for fun ?

if as a business, what are requirements to enter n stuff ?

its both.

There are commercial game server hosts like sgwargames which host the servers and earn profit.

People like us and many clans do it for fun.

Its not an easy business. A very good network infrastructure is required for it.
 
Well you need a fast machine with good bandwidth to host a server for a single game... Fast machie wont be a big problem but good bandwidth will be... As the bandwidth prices in inida are steep...

Of course it will. You can host a world class server for that kinda money. Go in for colocation, or rent a Xeon based server at VSNL's or Reliances data center, your monthly expenses will come to about 15k, but you need to rent out to a lot of clans to recover that sort of money.

And im pretty sure that no one from India will take it on rent.
