This is old beta keys have been coming out for a year already. You just go to battlefieldheroes.com and sign up there and if you put stuff like you game a lot and names of games you play you are more likeley to get it.

I've been playing the closed beta for quite a while now. Its pretty fun esp the customising of the characters.

it's nowhere near as good as tf2. it is, however, an entertaining and fun distraction... kind of like a game you can play if you have 15-20 minutes to kill. it's not very good for serious gameplay.

you download a browser plugin which downloads the rest of the client. the final folder size is 320mb at the moment but the download is compressed so it's smaller than that.
 
i play battlefield heroes all day long.... this is the right time to subscribe for the key. ur almost gettin it in a week after registering.... iam a regular player but i registered for my bro and he got it in a week whereas i had to wait for almost 6 months....lol
it s a very kool and fun game to play..... there are a lotta bugs though but yeah still a very good game.... iam just waitin for the final release....

what level are your characters in the game?
 
thnx spindoctor !! sux for me,the game doesnt support resume,now i am trying to download it for 3rd time , the first 2 times got washed away due to net problem and powercut :@

Thats true.. but a great initiative for a free game. What more can we expect :D
 
does it work well on IE7 ?

the activeX doesnt seem to load since a long time now :S

Update : bah! :@ its just not loading, only screenshots come on how to go about the Active X
