Getting a mid range gaming PC, what should I get?

No plans for waiting for 4-5 months. All I can do is wait for a month :)

I think, the suggested configuration is good :)

XMS3 4GB 1600MHz CL9 kit is ~2.7k-3k these days. Same 10 years warranty.
Though one can get 2*2GB Corsair Value RAM 1333MHz CL9 for just 2.1k :D

I bought an XMS3 2*2 GB 1600MHz CL9 yesterday for 2.7K + tax from SP Road.

Believe me dude, u are not the only one who bought it for 6k ,,... my frnd got it for 6.2 around oct 2010 .and in nov it was down to 3.7k .... then went as low as 2.2k near dec .... yes , it's the same 10 yrs warranty one :/ .. one guy said to me long back "lamington road is just like share market, u need to place ur chips on the right thing at the right time"
