Getting a Sony Ericsson W705 from UK O2 Locked

Am getting a Sony Ericsson W705 Mobile handset from UK thru my brother whos comming in few days, the prob is that the W705 would be locked to O2 service, wanted to know if it could be Unlocked and then only I wud ask my bro to get it.

check in ebay ,i remember 1 of my collegue bought unlock code for his some motorola phone which was at&t locked , dat guy needs the imei no of the phone i guess , just search n confirm and then 1ly get the phone

I think you might get it. Also for imei you can get a custom imei no so no problems on that front.
