I am buying a PSU tomorrow... The following have been shorlisted :

CM real power pro 460 80+ bronze

CM GX450 80+ bronze

Seasonic SII 430 80+ bronze

Silverstone ST50 ES 80+ standard

My budget is 3.5K or below. Dont suggest VX450 , its been sold at 3.9K presently rarely available.

Any more options??

My system : Athlon II X3 440 unlocked to X4 @ 3.6Ghz, MSI 770 TC45 Mobo, Corsair 2x2Gb 800mhz DDR2 RAM ,Sapphire 6850 @ 775Mhz,CM Hyper TX3, Seagate 1TB 7200.12 + Seagate 500GB + Hitachi deskstar 160 GB, Lg DVD writer, 4 x 120 mm LED fans (taking new cabinet (M59 or guardian 912) and case fans)

Do confirm if ITWares has the stock of the Seasonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze. He seems to have priced it at 3525 INR in the sale thread although it isn't in stock.

Guys I have already enquired at primeabgb and itwares for VX450 and Seasonic 520, thats the reason why I have not mentioned those in my shortlist

You need at least 550 to 650 watts of PSU with that config+overclocking.

Cooler Master PSU Extreme Power Series 600W,although not really recommended but, with that budget and system configuration may be this should satisfy you.

Just take care of this, that you use Indian power cable and not the default European one that comes in the package. They don't don't come with earthing pins and many people here on TE have blown up their PSU because of that cord.Without earthing there is charge build up inside the case which is not good.It exactly fits up in your budget and you should easily be able to get it locally.

anymore suggestions/ opinions?? I am leaning towards seasonic 430... But is CM real power pro more powerful than seasonic 430... Moreover does single rail has advantages over dual rails?? Since CM gx450 has got 35a on single 12v rail whereas seasonic 430 has 17+17 amps and Cm RPP 460 has 18+18 amps ... What do you suggest guys?

hey see cx600

its not that bad nd retail at 3.4k

and even better than cm 600 power plus

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

and gs600 3.6k

Big NO to CX series (CX400 is exception)... GS600 is rated at 40c ambient temperature, so in India I think its not good considering the temperatures around..

^^
yeah buy that
lynx prices are without taxes but i always get on price they quoted
buy from an local dealer i m sure u can get around 3.6k
