has anyone got the game?

i am getting only low & medium in texture quality. any idea how to set it to high?

rest of the options all have been set to high. only no option to set texture quality to high. maybe more ram or vram is needed. but not sure.

let me know if u have the game or if you guys find some info on the net about it.
 
You need 512MB to run high texture quality. The game disables it by default for 256MB cards. In case you are interested, you could edit the config file manually and make it high. But there'll be horrendous swapping. File will be here

X:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Demo\Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Demo\Data\settings\renderer_settings.xml
 
Stormy beware the game lags if you enable the high quality textures. You need a 512mb card for that else there will be thrashing like chaos said.........
 
lets face it - the game is exclusive to xbox360 cuz its such a high kinda game that it really needed next gen consoles to be good at.

i too want to play it on the pc but i cant cuz i dont have the right graphics card.:mad: :mad: :mad:

LOL the current high end video cards are more powerful then the Xbox360's GPU or the upcoming PS3's GPU.

LOL are you nuts? The maps on the PC are 3-4 times as big as the maps on the X360 cos the console can't handle so much detail in a single map. A current high end PC is a lot more powerful than either the xbox 360 or the vaporware PS3 :p.

so still Xbox 360 doesnt have enough power ? thats unbelievable !
