I don't remember what exactly was edited out since I lost some of the old books and the new books are all kept in a box now. I think even Tintin books had some problem like Tintin in Africa was not published in some countries because it was termed racist or something.

Tintin in the Congo was characterised as racist due to its portrayal of the Congolese as infantile and stupid
