Gifting money abroad

Marriage of my NRI USA cousin coming in September.

How do I gift money them? What are my options? With full safety and least transaction costs?

book a flight to Thailand, Singapore etc, do WU (western union) and return back to India :P :P

I must say bringing money in India is whole lot easier, than sending abroad
 
Hawala is good option if the money you want to use is not accounted
Or if gifting cash going to be an issue, make some chain or jewelry for that amount
