Global Internet Speeds Slows Down - BIGGEST ATTACK IN HISTORY

TheGuardian : Spamhaus internet attack: was it all a PR stunt?

Gizmodo concludes the whole story was essentially a cynical bid by CloudFlare to drum up more business. James Blessing of the UK Internet Service Providers Association council won't go quite that far, saying the attack "did have an impact. Some sites will be affected." But while the global internet, or parts of it, may potentially be vulnerable to a truly massive attack using the kind of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) techniques Cyberbunker has allegedly deployed, this one is probably not it. Yet. If you really want to slow down the internet, the best way may still be the simplest: cut a cable.

My internet were kinda stalling for 2 days. Have to stop and reload websites few times to get it to working. At first I thought it was some problem with my connection or PC itself, but now got the reason. Thanks for the info, terence_fdes...

today i was struggling even opening facebook & some other popular sites... whereas download speed was fine... it seems everything is not fine yet

still Having a very bad time on there net. God knows when this will be over & I will get my normal internet back?
very very frustrated! :(

i am having major problems from 27th March , all this time i was blaming BSNL evdo . I have an unusual situation :-

1. HTTP downloads normal , torrents mostly normal
2. india based websites are only little slower , all other websites either timeout or have an unusually high pings.

Even I faced the same issue with BSNL EVDO, but from yesterday it seems fine. Back to normal.

Mine is YOU broadband and torrents were giving me around 70% of 1 Mbps speeds but now since yesterday morning it seems to back at 100% capacity.
