Hey Guys ,
I have tried to get info about this motherboard.It supports the upcoming Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs and has support for Quad Core CPUs coming out later.

Well here are the vitals points-

Model - Gigabyte GA P965 DQ6
Price - 13,500 + Tax + Shipping = [ Approx 14,200/-]
Availability - Once this order is placed, 8 Days from then.

I'm having trouble getting a P5W... if I can't get one in a week, I'll settle for this board and wait for RD600 :p

Darky, can you tell me the exact reasoning behind going after the DQ6? I would love to have a DS3 because on air, i am not expecting anything above 3.5-3.6 ghz anyways....thats 400x9... + the limit is mostly synthetic because it varies with multipliers.... which implies that it can be easily be fixed with a "requisite" bios update.... right? unless ofcourse you need the extra features on the DQ6.

Its getting murkier and murkier........ so many confusions.

Is DQ6 gonna be available locally? Is any one of the 965 boards gonna be available locally.

I STRONGLY suggest all to hold there horses and go with a collective order. The whole community will benefit. If some good offers come up in Bangalore, I will take up the responsibility and make the group order happen.

one of my friends in s'pore managed to oc an E6300 to 7x500fsb using a DQ6... now that's a sweet board... 500fsb :)
 
What's so special, most boards are doing 500fsb with the E6300/E6400 but tend to cop out at <400fsb with the E6600/E6700 :)
 
You're right, I thought I read DS3 in his post... sorry! Btw, Darky count me out of the DQ6 order... looks like I'll get a P5W in a couple of weeks.
