According to the press release featured in the official PlayStation YouTube channel the game will feature "the origins of Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom and vengeance."[/font]

Yep! Sony confirms it. Slated for a Spring 2013 release and that is anytime starting March 20th.
