Disciple
Hello Guys,

Hope everyone is doing fine~

Been thinking about putting together my dream rig for few years now. I think now the time is right - especially with new gen graphics unit prices settling down and fairly good availability of 144hz gaming displays... also do let me know what you guys think about the timing - should I start placing orders in Jan or should I wait a few more months?

Timeframe I am looking at to put this together is around End of Jan to Feb 2017

Don't Buy Steelseries Sensai, you are noob if you do so.its overpriced and has a Laser sensor.

For gaming headsets look for hyper Cloud Core 2,
Cheap gaming headsets are a Big Joke, better buy normal headphones with mic.

For keyboard,if u want a proper mechanical keyboard buy a Cooler Master QFR,pro S,etc
Otherwise go for corsair if u are just into gaming and not much of mecha kb guy.

Zowie,Steelseries and glorious make the best mouse pads ,go for speed over control any day.

I do not have any experience with Liquid Cooling Setup... Its an interesting option though - I may try and research similar DIY projects on youtube later. Lets see what is the effort vs benefit equation here.

Coming back to other points that you made...
  • I have been using steelseries/razer for some time now... haven't tried zowie, is it really worth it? I can see they cost a little more than DA or Sensei
  • For keyboard i am pretty sure I want to go with corsair, my experience with cooler master hasen't been good
  • I may look to import EVGA GPU based on what you said about warranty

Thanks for the inputs... really appreaciated[DOUBLEPOST=1480857878][/DOUBLEPOST]
what you want to buy will cost much more.
Actually you are right ... i checked prices on Amazon and PrimeABGB .. Total is about ~2 Lac... Thats a bummer[DOUBLEPOST=1480858579][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sensai has laser sensor, no competition with zowie AT ALL
Deathadder has poor build quality.will break in an year or 2

Regarding Zowie ,I would buy it even for 8k,it's worth ever penny, sure it's 1000rs expensive compared to steelseries but you are getting a 10/10 masterpiece.

I don't see my mouse going down before the next 3 years.

It lacks RGB leds and customisation software, but it doesn't matter me,plus it actually looks expensive due to its build quality and minimalistic design

For keyboard, corsair and cooler master both make great keyboards, cooler master uses standard key set so u can customise it with custom keycaps, switches etc.
Corsair on the other hand You can't easily. It's up to you

Cheap gaming headsets suck, hyperX cloud series are the only ones I can recommend on a budget.
If you can't afford it then buy a condenser microphone and standard headphones.

I am currently using a zowie Ec2a,Quickfire Rapid and audio technica m50x with condenser mic

For liquid cooling,it might sound complex but for your budget is actually a great choice plus it looks beautiful.
