What metal... which wood.. how much thick glass ? Please calculate Glass weight.. If it's too heavy.. it will be very difficult for you to clean the system.. If too light..i.e. thin glass means danger of breaking..

For the Metal part it will be all aluminum as it is light weight and has the strength.
Besides that, I will be keeling the edge 3 Inches away from the wall as will be mounting the LCD in front, hence will get the desired area for airflow.
Will be using appropriate feet base in the table for absolute distance and 2 hinges will lock the table on the wall so that it does not budge and is movable for cleaning and stuff. refined drawing coming up next.

Installed the MCP 655, was very simple. Went to the fabricator with the drawings, he said its a bit too much to fabricate so need to simplify the design.
Will design it today in the evening and post it. Using Google Sketch (Free App) got the designs.
