I suggest a few small changes to reduce the price if u need it.
If its going to be just a gaming rig, u should consider getting just an i5 and also reducing hdd to 500gb.
If u need more hdd space could opt for externals later. Also 12 gb ram should suffice for you for sometime to come.
Also blueray-reader wont be much needed, since blueray quality wont be visible for you in such a small screen.

I dont have the option for a i5 in most configs.
HDD, noted.
RAM, 12GB is enough? Anyways the price difference is like ~50USD :(
Blu ray to DVD difference is 45USD. :(

If the laptop was anything under 1700USD I would have ordered it by now. The 1000USD over shoot is making me shudder. :( :(. I have 2 more weeks to decide..

Till then reviews and hands on

You have only yourself to blame for that.:p:p
What happened to sticking with the 870. That's a saving of $450 right there.

GTA5. All this is for GTA5. :)

Haha. I guess the heart wants what the heart wants, eh.
I remember spending hours deciding on configs and then ultimately deciding not to buy one because I hardly game and was just looking to buy one just for the sake of owning top notch hardware.

Hmmmm. I wonder if thats what i am also doing.   [DOUBLEPOST=1401227047][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyways. Dropped the idea of Sager. They are turning out to be very expensive. Will stick with MSI GT70Dominator Pro 890. Coming to ~2300USD. Reduced 400USD. Still 880M. :) :). Most prolly I will be jumping the gun in 2 weeks. Got everything I need.

I am in a dilemma now. Just for the heck of it I checked Amazon for the price. For the same config. Only diff is the IC diamond compound application as an extra for 35USD is missing. But this one, I can get a 500GB SSD. The other one only had 250GB SSD.

http://www.amazon.com/MSI-GT70-DOMI...A2-890-17-3-Inch/dp/B00IMTQ7MQ#productDetails

Comes to 2156 USD. Cheaper than XOtic PC is offering. :S. And all with Prime. 2 day delivery. :S. Which one to go for?

If I stick with the 250GB SSD its 2055.97 USD. :) :)

If I stick with the original plan of 120GB SSD then its 1996.97 USD. :D :D :D :D :D

Dude. I had done the same thing. I got a Sammy 51" Plasma, a PS3 and a Macbook Air at that time, after all the salivating and doing all the permutations and combinations.

The ps4 i bought last time i was here is in india. All packed. No games. Not even turned on once. Bought it the week released. Already another ps3 also back home. Hoping to carry this there. December long way. Just in works.
