Hi guys. I am looking to build a Microatx system with a Ryzen 5600x and Rtx 3070.

I am looking for a budget matx motherboard which can light up my INWIN 301 case as it has rgb. So i think the board should have rgb connectors also.

Also do i need a separate cooler for 5600x. I won't be overclocking it in the near future though.

I think Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro is a fine choice for you. It has really good vrm cooling and power delivery and should suit your usecase.
Its available on primeabgb at 13k

These days een a basic mobo from a good brand got argb and rgb connectors. You havent specified your budget at all.

What is a "budget motherboard"? Wouldn't it be better to specify a number?

I'm using MSI B550M Pro VDH Wi-fi and it's fairly good. Costs about 11k

As suggest by @Asteroid , the B550M Aorus Pro seems to be a very solid competitor. You can also look at B450 AORUS M if you want to save another ~4K and are fine with running an older board.

As for your query regarding the stock cooler being sufficient, it would. They wouldn't include an insufficient cooler, should be just fine for stock.

The stock cooler is sufficient. But it is noisy, mounting is a bit tricky and gets quite hot in summers.

If you want lower noise, a cheap 120mm tower cooler will do wonders (like Deepcool Gammaxx line/Deepcool AG400).

Check these out, motherboard is one of the best mATX b550m boards, case has mesh front and comes with 4 rgb fans, cooler is one of the best budget coolers money can buy. These are just few suggestion.

Would you recommend the B450 Aorus over the MSI B550M-A Pro? Trying to find a board for a 5600 under 9k
