using an open zebronics normal cabinet for so long, now want some decent cabinet

price around 1.5K (without PSU)

Looking at Zebronics Bijli

any other options (please don't suggest CM690 or anything in that range)

How many 120mm FAN slots are recommended to be avbl

AFAIK, most guys suggest 120mm front for Intake (Avbl on Bijli)

what should be the exhaust - 2 80mm side fans or the rear ones

or does it allow 120mm housing in the rear as well

Currently got an idle Amigo 120mm lying around

Looking for all the suggestions I can get, please help

The Antec NSK4400 seems perfect...costs 1.5k at itdepot..

Or Else check out the gigabyte cabinets...at lynx

You can get Zebronics Bijli without smps for ard 1000 bucks. It is a vfm cabinet,I have used it in the past.Change the front fan with the amigo fan and install the front fan as the exhaust.Dont know if newer bijli support 120mm as exhaust.

try looking for the zebronics pro range of cabinets,i haven't seen them myself but the specs looks good, built with a .8mm SECC metal.
i have seen the zebronics bijli but wasn't satisfied with the build quality the rear of cabinet bends when u try to install a mobo or even when u try to screw in a gfx card or anyother add on card.

avoid the Bijli.. the newer revisions have changed.. very thin material.. very crappy.. and if i'm not mistaken.. they come with a friggin 80mm exhaust fan mount

^Yeah the newer Bijli comes with a 80mm exhaust. Someone did post a pic of it in the forums sometime back.

Not so perfect: No room inside.

Recommendation:

Cooler Master Elite 33x series ~2k

-Ample room inside, fits 120mm/92mm/80mm fans in front and rear

-Great Looks n build quality, Air filters are standard in Front

-Many mods available

Else check out Gigabyte's offering (provided that its not mini-atx)

there was a CM armor on sale @ 2k with thunderblade and ximatek fans.......best offer. And yes its in chennai......I would have bought the case just for fans:ohyeah:

cmon guys, any more suggestion on CM Elite 335
Any hands-on with this cabby and whats the retails price for it
Off to Ritche on Monday to scout for it :)

I know NSK4400 can be modded for tidyness, but it still doesnt have enough room....Yea that means interchanging hardware/HDDs/Drives easily. its such a squeeze :|

Look at these marvelous systems built around Elite 33X cabinets. Just Look at the cable management. And none of the system has been modded, not a single penny spent over them.

(ignore the 1st system, dunno which cabby is that)

(128k warning, hugely Pic intensive)

@OP: Yes CM Elite 335 is awesome

So much space (Even with a non-modular SMPS).. (yup thats a GTX275, hell of a huge card) Still there's so much room for adding removing hardware/hdds/drives etc.

For comparison here's the NSK

Thanks everyone for helping me get a good cabby

finally succumbed to temptation and got CM Elite 335
It was scarcely avbl at Ritche with many dealers saying out of stock
Finally got it from Mahavir at 2.1K after hell a lot of haggling :(

Bijli looked shitty and Zeb Pro Blackjack was quoted 2.8K +tax :S

sato: that's awesome cable mgmt :)...i did a sh1tty job i guess, will post pics soon
Can u please post more pics in different angles. i could use it :bleh:

have fixed Amigo at rear exhaust and the crappo CM stock as front intake
Need to get hold of one more good CFM 120mm for front

Is the settings right - front intake and rear exhaust and which should have the better fan(higher cfm/speed)

Thirdly, yes you should put High CFM fan in Front and rear. (PS: the amigo is one noisy fan, hope you can cope with it :P )

Congrats on the purchase !

FYI, Bijli is 1K + cheaper, so don't expect a miracle.

For its price, it still offers the best VFM !
