Good charger for iPad Air?

Need a good quality charger for iPad Air. Official Apple one costs about 1500

any other good cheaper alternatives?

i wont suggest any other charger. there have been increasing reports of phones bursting/becoming damaged due to third party charger/batteries. it makes zero sense to risk damaging your expensive product with a cheap charger

its very costly man... :| any samsung/moto/lg/sony chargers of same rating?

not able to find any Non apple power adapter which has 5.2V

will mostly have to buy Apple charger itself. I am not able to find any good alternatives

I'm having problem with even original ipad charger that came with it.. after charging with 10/12W charger the charger becomes extremely hot. so hot that we can't touch it. so I'hv been using PC or 5W charger only to charge nowdays. which works fine. what could be the problem ?

Does your iPad charge when connected to PC USB port ? I always get "Not Charging", at least in older iOS versions when i connected to laptop. But i have a feeling that with newer iOS version, it does charge using lesser mA USB port but at a slower rate. I may be wrong.

even though it shows not charging but it charges slowly slowly.. it takes overnight to charge from 20%.. and usually works for a week. so its only one day job for a week. PS, I have iPad air too and tried 10W, 12W and 5W chargers.. 10 and 12W always overheats to uncomfortable levels.

Whats the charger rating? If it has 5v then you shouldn't be using for charging iPad Air.

Voltage is usually 5V its the ampere rating that makes the difference in watts

I am not sure, but I think iPad 4 has 5v and iPad Air has 5.2V
