Can u share the link? As i have 598u model, so will check if it works or not.

one more thing how to know if my sim is roaming ready or i have to get it patched for roaming from bsnl office?
And does EVDO works in Delhi at present i am in UP(home circle)?

Generally roaming in BSNL RUIM's are activated by default.

Hello Friends! Today, I have installed openwrt on TP-Link 3420 V2. It working fine with Sierra 598 U. I'm enjoying it. you must have to use LAN Cable to upgrade the firmware.
