Good reliable fast 256kbps broadband

As the title says, I want to take up a 256kbps unlimited connection.... I am in Bangalore....

I have an Exatt 128 and am fed up to the veyr limit. I want another connection. BSNL is out of the question as I want an unlimited connection. On a 64 kbps connection, my download is something like 15 GB. Data transfer (through BT) is around 28GB.

Hathway was my first choice but they do not have connectivity in my area......

If I do not get another option, I may end up going for Airtel 128kbps unlimited. Or if my run of bad luck continues, I may be stuck with these goddamn Exatt @$$holes....

Please recommend something guys..... My Exatt connection expires on 7th of this month........
 
Well i read about the unlimited transfers. I m also gonna change my connection. Lets see if tats the case BSNL is the best.
 
I have been using AirTel for more than a year now, The service is good, uptime is good but its costly, you end up paying 1.1k for 128k ultd...I want to shift ISPs too, 1.1k is too much for me :( AND u need to pay 250(50 pulses) for the landline, They wont give you just internet conn...
 
Airtel by far is the best ISP i've experienced. No donwtimes - they say upto 128, and deliver 128 - no downtimes ever again - great great customer service.
and 1.1k ? your being robbed, i pay 900/m+some tel bills which roughly adds up to 1k for 128 kbps unlimited.
 
Just got new connection(in Gzb.) from SpaceCom Inc. rates are same as Airtel 128k for 1100 but its normal ethernet connection and speeds are the best I have seen so far 14.5-16.5 kBps constant-and I have only a month to use it!Not that I'm complaining...

900+99+10% Service Tax+ 2% edu cess...
is 1.1k...and then fone rental is 250, so I end up paying 1.4k every month :(

well sify seems to have bad reputation...well maybe i can change their quality of service once i get in :)
 
Sify has all limited capped plans, even in their unlimited section those plans are limited by time or data. Sify is the worst ISP now, don't fall for their advertisement boards or you'll repent.
 
Airtel Is the Best....as far as i am concerned.....and the connection is also good.....touchwood...it has not gone down ever and the download speed is also good and unlimited
Hell I download the Movies also.
