My Sennheiser HD485 has almost reached the end of its life and I am looking for new pair of surround sound headphones. Personally I was not impressed by the HD485. I do not any interest in music and its games and movies I use them for. It has good audio quality after the burn in, but the audio is too bland for gaming. No sense of direction or anything in games.
So this time, I want a pair of surround sound headphones. I don't care whether they use multiple physical speakers or just virtual surround, but the effect must be good and useful for games. I can go as high as $150 if I think its worth it.
