Google has also released the next version of Android : Android L- 5.0 (Lollipop)
https://android.com/versions/lollipop-5-0/[DOUBLEPOST=1413391024][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah $649 would be way too much for a nexus device. I may continue with my yearold Nexus 5 with Android Lollipop.
Not officially announced but leaks suggest $649 maybe. But my guess would be around$499.
It indeed is!
I was hoping it would be waterproof as many Motorola phones are.
Looks like Google is stepping up the tempo in no compromise Tier 1 devices.Another thing seems to be that Google no longer thinking about offending hardware vendors like Samsung by cannibalizing their devices' sales as both the Nexus 6 and 9 are capable of running with every flagship out there and not gimped in any aspect like the battery and camera on Nexus 5.
It seems to me that Google is now daring to hit right at Samsung who have no other option except Android as Tizen flopped hard even before seeing the light of the day. In addition to this they are hitting the Indian market with Android One which will surely kill off a lot of sales for Samsung
That is a bit harsh considering how much functionality the Touchwiz ROM has(One handed Mode most of all for phablets) in spite of the lag.But it is necessary for the market to come out of Samsung' hegemony so that people can shut up about the lag.Samsung has already ruined the android reputation so much.
What about support for Indian LTE bands ?
Na. Its 2300MHz > LTE band 40.
