Hi Guys

The MX518 just arrived posting the pics for u all.

The mouse is simply amazing , never used such a mouse in my life.

Blade now i remember every word u told me ,
"once us start using the mx518 u wont use anyother mouse"

I just move my hand by a few millimeters and the pointer moves where i want
to move it to automatically.

I have packed my microsoft optical wheel mouse and kept it aside.

This mouse even without installing the drivers the on the fly sensitivity
configure is working.

Also on my normal mouse pad the mouse is just gliding.

Cant explain more just wanna enjoy every moment of it.

Thanks to mandar for selling me his mouse.

I felt that i would never get myself such a costly mouse even never dreamt
of spending so much money on a mouse but thanks to Mandar he made the
mouse affordable for me.

This baby is gorgeous and now i just can wait to try some action in some FPS.

Will let u know more as i explore this beauty.

The experience is out of the world for me and i wanted to share this with u guys.

@Appo - It took me about 15Mins to break that terrific packing u had done.

I am speechless and am falling short of words to describe this mouse.

Switch i have never used a mouse better than the microsoft optical wheel mouse. ;)

This the first time i even got to touch and use such a gaming mouse.

I know this mouse is normal for some guys on TE but for me its something new to explore.

Illicited the same reactions from me.....he hee...very nice, slick and smooth...and best of all incredibly light

i am amazed tat u even need to move it by a few millimeters quady :P

lol, for me i never used it but after seeing it in DFI launch i am trying to get it.

actually, the MX 518 is the heaviest mouse i came across :P

and yes, moving form ms mouse and mx518, ull notice tons of difference that too at 1600 dpi, i know this, cause ive used it in the same way, enjoy your new mouse Quaddy, and get a new pc soon :P

I didnt feel it that heavy and i am now completely adjusted with the new mouse.

And must say there is a Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge difference.
The MS is no match to the MX518 thats the difference. :ohyeah: :D

thats coz u dont pick it up or move it too fast, if u really want to know its weight, hold ur ms mouse in one hand and mx518 in another ;) but i kinda like the way this mouse grips ur hand, good and easy to get used to it after using the ms 1.1 ;)

The Mx518 is definately heavier than the MS mouse which i was using.
But i got so much immersed in using the MX518 that i really didnt care abt the weight.

The grip is fantasic my hand perfectly gets placed on the mouse.

I am completely happy with what I got.

The MX518 was my first love even if u place ne other better mouse in front

of it i wouldnt have got it.

I know the advantages of the G5 and CopperHead over the MX518 but still

I dont regret gettin this.

Also Please post ur Pics too.

Guys ne mouse maintainence tips , please suggest ;)
 
Yea, i got some

Do not immerse in water

Do not smack it against the table when u miss someone or someone kills u

Do not click voilently when some game is loading

Do not try to spit and shine it

Do not pi$$ on it

Do not sit on it

Do not use it on surfaces like sand, harsh granite, doormat and especially on ur show sole

and this is the most important of all

keep it away from the reach of your cat(s)*

* Applicable only for ppl who have a pet cat, though its recommended that dog owners also keep this in mind.

Now, you wouldn't need to do that with the G5. It has Teflon feet! Teflon as you know is antistick so it doesn't pick up any muck at all.

I haven't cleaned the shoepads of my G5 even once, and it's been three months since I've been using it. This is a small but super smart thing Logitech has done.

Those tips helped a lot. I used to bang my MS 1.1 though. But not the expensive mice :ohyeah:

Dad would kill me if i break my mouse. Lol.
