Got DOMO N9SE. Android Newbie Here..

You can't overclock unless the kernel supports it and most stock kernels do not. Still you can try. I am assuming you have root access. Install Rom Toolbox, goto CPU Control and see if OCing is possible.

On its website its written Overclockable to 1.5Ghz. I know its not possible till 1.5Ghz but atleast 1.2Ghz? I'll try it and let you know.

@manu1991 I installed the app. Tried to overclock but the app hanged. Dunno why. I'm not sure my device is rooted or not. I checked it via root checker app. And i installed a custom boot screen which got installed. Now what to do?
 
But it did allow you to overclock? can you post a screenshot of what you see on the cpu control page? (use volume down+power button to take a screenshot)

Yes it did. I was able to slide the slider but when i set it to 1248Mhz my device hanged and i had to restart it.
I'll post a screen shot asap.
 
paarkhi Thanks for the link the first one worked. Have installed CWM Recovery.
Need some help regarding this:

Whenever i try to copy files into internal or from internal i get this error:


How to fix this? Sometimes files get copied but most of the time i get this error.

Second, How to install apps on my external SD card. All apps i install goes to the internal 5GB memory. My device reads it as a SD card. I've tried using Apps2SD and many other too but they all tend to move the files to internal only. I've read a bit about why it happens because of some partitions issue and ICS using Internal SD as sddata something.

Please help me out on these two issues. :(

1. Have you tried to move/copy data from your SD card to internal (if yes, then do you get any error)?
2. Why do you want to install apps on External SD card, is 5gb not enough for you? All those big gameloft games data anyhow goes to SD card and let the Apps go on internal memory (5GB), I've seen some apps getting lag when installed on external SD card, btw you can try link2SD or Super Tool Box for moving your apps

1. Yes i have tried. And yes i get an error saying cannot copy. 'm planning for formatting the internal sd. Should i?
2. No it does not my internal is the sd card. Nothing goes into external. Because of the upper reason i want to make my external sd to internal sd and vice versa. I am unable to copy any sd data of games(which my friends have downloaded on there phones/tabs) or any other data to my internal sd. Please help man..its really irritating. :(

this 0x80070057 error is most probably fixed by formatting Internal SD. SHould i format it then.
Read a couple of threads on XDA
 
What are the contents of internal memory? can you browse it through? if you don't have any system contents on it then you can format it but please format it through phone

I tried formatting it through CWM Recovery. It wasn't successful. Now what?
 
Does this have 1gb ram ?..HomeShop18 says so.
and how is the camera (5MP :p)
for 6k this seems like a very good VFM vs (funbook,smartTab)

Hey i was able to format my mmc via CWM Recovery. was able to take the back up and everything. Thanks a lot for your help man. :)

Leaving camera apart :P (Good enough for skype maybe 1.3MP dunno never clicked any shot till yet)
Yes it has 1GB Ram. Dunno what to compare it with funbook. My friend has it. Main difference i felt was the size of the tablet. funbook is a bit bigger than this domo n9se. Rest I got this tablet as a gift from cousin. :D
Rest one can apply a 500/- off on 2500 coupon on this and can get this for 5.5k then.

Sorry i have no idea. I got to know about this tablet after i got this. It will be available soon i guess.
Touch and web browsing is nice i watch most of my mails and youtube videos on this device now rather than on my Omnia W(which i used to before)
Plus i have started to like android over windows mobile 7.5.
