you connected the 6 pin power connector to the card? also does its fan spin?

motherboard details please, some boards require that the card be put in a specific slot, if you are using a single card.

the motherboard is ASUS M2A74-AM , it has only one slot for the \gfx card , and the fans DO spin , and i DID connected 6pin power supply .

try cleaning d contact points (may b u can use an eraser bt b careful), check whether it is properly inserted.........

did u boot without gfx?? did u get d display at that time??

Did u insert the monitor cable to the gpu?:P. Sounds silly but can happen

Did u check the card before buying??....If all things are fine then it seems u got a defective gpu.
i couldnt check as it is purchasedfrom chandigarh , but i am too sure amarbir has checked the card , i can trust him for that. i hadthe card in its packing till the last minute . if it is defective what options do i have ? can i take it to repair shop or anything like that?

ps: i connected the 6pin before also , didnt helped . also tried without using 6pin
pps: fan is moving do i haf any hope?:ashamed:

Please answer if you have connected the display cable to the connector on mobo or to the gpu (while gpu inserted).

Check if the card works fine in any other machine OR check if any other card works in your machine.

PS: Do not commit the mistake of taking products under warranty to any repair shops other than the Authorized Service Center.

Servicing it via amarbir may cost you additional on shipping + time spent for shipping both sides.

look for service center within your locality (i think its same as palit) ..and it will be much faster.

yes , i have connected the monitor cable to gpu , also i had tried using the availeble hdmi port to connect tothe monitor.

other cards are running fine .
