I have AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, so far I could play Some AAA titles with medium graphics, but it looks like time for a dedicated graphics cards.

I have the following -
  1. MSI Tomahawk B450 Motherboard
  2. AMD Ryzen 5 2400G
  3. 16 GB Corsair DDR4 RAM
  4. Asus Xonar Sound Card
  5. Samsung 27" Curved Monitor 1920x1080 @60Hz
  6. 256 GB NVME 2.0 SSD + 1TB HDD
  7. Antec VP550P Plus 550 Watt 80 Plus SMPS
Pls suggest a good card around 20k budget for playing latest titles in HD

wait for amd 6000 launch and you can get some discount on low ended cards. else try to get a deal on nvidia 2060 or nvidia 1660ti.

GTX 1660 Super is the best card in that budget as pointed out by @demberto

Prices will definitely fall in the future but it won't happen unless the new generation of cards is readily available.. which I think will take you to early next year.
So if you can wait, Great! If not, go for a GTX 1660 Super or keep checking TE for some good second-hand deals.. you might get GTX 2060 around that price

Cheapest GTX 1660 Super I could find online is here

As others have mentioned, at this point of time, 1660 super is the way to go.

If you can wait for few more months, then wait till next week to see the performance of RDNA2 and then if its good, then you'll have to wait for some more months for the 5500 XT replacement.

Also, you'll have to upgrade the CPU soon as its just 4 core 4 threads.

OP, when you say you want to play games in HD, what resolution do you mean? HD = 720p and FULL HD = 1080p.

If its 720p --> 1650 or RX 570 or RX 580 should be fine
If its 1080p --> 1660 super or RX 5500XT

His monitor specs is 27" 1080p, so I'm pretty sure that he mentions 1080p.

Yes sorry for not being specific, I meant 1080p obv
So 1660 Super will run all games in 1080P ? Like Valhalla ?
And its better than 580 8GB ?

Yes 1660 super is better. Check gpu hierarchy from below link:

Nvidia new series won't be available till 2021. You can look forward to amd 6000 series. But if you want to buy now then 1660 super is better option under 20k.

1660 S is better than 580 as its more expensive. Plus, for titles like AC, nvidia is a better choice due to DX11 overhead and general ubisoft nvidia optimisations in AC games. Valhalla will support DX12 which always works in AMD's favor, but since its not released yet, nothing can be said for sure. In any case, I doubt RX 580 will beat 1660S in AC Valhalla.

And that monitor thing. Silly me. I was reading two different threads, lol, so mixed it up. Sorry for that.

RX 580 is very good for 1080p. Who said its not?

But, its good for 1080p for most games, but has started showing its age now. e.g. Check the benchmark for HZD which was released this year or Control or AC Odyssey. Average FPS goes below 60 in these games. So, for 1080p, its better to take a card which is one tier above it - 1660S or RX5500XT.
Here is an example video from Youtube:

Also, OP mentioned games like valhalla. AC series historically has run better on Nvidia hardware. Whether it will be the case for Valhalla or not, nobody knows.
