Graphic Cards Graphics card from US

Actually there is no reason for not choosing a 4870, DX 11 games will take time to become mainstream (infact a lot longer IMO, not unless a new console by MS is introduced anyways). Even with DX 11 widespread implementation, I doubt if 5770 would be able to handle the same at full HD. Go for a 4870, it simply is a better option.

me not gonna upgrade it tooo soon .... not atleast 3-4 yrs
so which 1 ???
5750 or 5770 ??

if you plan to use it for 3-4 years, then just forget about ordering it from US. there are 2 reasons:
1) 3 yrs is a long time, your card may go bad after some time, so it may be difficult to claim a warranty unless u have someone frequently travellign between india & US. so buy it from india.

2) since you plan to use it for 3-4 yrs, i'd suggest you wait for few months, save some more money and till that time (post christmas) the prices of 4xxx and 5xx series may drop. Even Nvidia may launch their GT300 cards around that time, so that would lead to a price war which would benefit the consumers.

the point here is not playing the waiting game for 5xxx series, but waiting for the Dx11 cards dust to settle down, so you can buy a more powerful card in your budget which can be useful in the long run be it DX 10 or DX11.

Check out this review of the 5770, look at the differences between the 5770 and 4870 (though they've used a 51MB version which is a bit slower than the 1GB version).

Even at 1920x1200 resolution (and your monitor is only 1920x1080), the 4870 512MB version is only 2% faster than the 5770, while consuming 60W more at idle and upto 100W more at load.

TomsHardware shows the performance of a 5770 to be atleast 92% of the 4870 1GB's performance at 1920x1200.

Go for the 4870 if that 7% performance difference REALLY matters to you.
