ayascool is right people here think that XFX is the "best" brand here as it is costlier compared to other brands.
to keep it simple the performance of a 9800gt green edition is somewhere between 9600gt and 9800gt
If you check the below link you can see some comparison nos between the normal 9800GT and the green edition with respect to temperature, power consumption etc (albeit in a different language)

^^Yeah..true. I also have heared abt heating issues on XFX. BTW, I dont think you should go for Green edition.
I've seen many people complain about XFX 9800GT green edition GPUs give "lower than expected" performance many times. The funniest thing is they don't even know they bought a green edition.
